Looking Ahead:
Our Next Strategic Chapter

As our first strategic plan concludes, we are sharing the focus that will drive our next chapter and strategic plan starting in 2027.

Over the past five years, we have had the privilege of partnering with organizations working to strengthen education, democracy and citizen participation, conservation of nature, and the rights of women across Guatemala. 

​

Our partners have taught us a great deal about both the challenges facing our country and the people working every day to address them.

​

One lesson emerged again and again: lasting progress depends on leadership.

Across every sector and issue, we have seen the critical role that ethical, capable, and committed leaders play in strengthening organizations, communities, and institutions. We also saw how many talented young Guatemalans—particularly women, Indigenous youth, and others historically excluded from opportunity—continue to face barriers to developing their full leadership potential.

As we look toward our next strategic chapter, we believe our greatest contribution is to help strengthen the leadership that Guatemala needs to thrive.

Our strategy will focus on leadership development through educational pathways, leadership accelerators, and platforms that elevate exemplary Guatemalan leaders.

This new direction reflects what we learned over the past five years. We remain deeply grateful for the organizations that have shaped our journey so far and we are committed to supporting a thoughtful transition as we move into this next chapter.
